Maple Leafs Update
The Leafs continue to have discussions with Anson Carter and his agent. However any deal cannot be completed until the leafs are able to clear some salary. The leafs have offered Antropov to Chicago and Detroit, however the leafs are going to have to most likely throw in a low level prospect to have a team pick up antropov's salary. Its believed the leafs are offering Cater somewhere in the vicinty of 1.5-1.75 million over 2 years and Anson is asking still for around 2.25-2.5 million. Sources seem to indicated that he will eventually either sign with Toronto or Detroit withen the next 3-4 days

I have just been informed by a reliable source ( upper leaf management ) that Richard Peddie and John Ferguson will be stepping down very soon. They will be replaced by Harry Sinden, Darryl Sittler and Wendel Clark. This will happen in the next 72 hours. Please stay posted I will update this breaking news soon.

I just hung up the phone. I was speaking with Bob McCown ( from the Fan 590 ) and he informed me that the Flyers and Leafs will complete a BLOCK BUSTER trade which includes more then 9 players. This will happen today.

The BLOCK BUSTER trade is a done deal. Only thing holding this up is Tomas Kaberle is not available.
As soon as the Leafs contact Kaberle then all players will be named in this BLOCK BUSTER trade.
Peter Forsberg and Simon Gagne are both coming to the Leafs in this BLOCK BUSTER trade. Please continue to check my posting because within the next few hous I will post the entire trade.

Well.......we're waiting. This just in, the Leafs will be playing in the bantam elite league......my coach just got off the phone with Gretzky and he told him about it.
This just in, Ricky Williams and Anson Carter will be performing Milli Vanilli hits on opening night.
