Anson Carter Update
Anson Carter's agents continue to ask for a 2 year contract at 3 million dollars per year. No teams are willing to bite at this and most people inside the nhl are saying that he wont see more then 2 million a year and will have to prove last year was no fluke. Again , if he lowers his asking price to 2 million a year, it will be a battle between Toronto and Detroit for his services.

didnt u sat like last week that carter and leafs were 500k apart..?
It was believed at the time that Carter would come down to 2.5 million to sign with leafs...Leafs have never offered more then 2 million. My guess is that Carter has gone back up in his demands to pull toronto and/or detroit closer to around 2.5 million then the 2.0 million that has been offered.He is playing hardball to get himself the max deal available. Since July 1st however, carter has been viewing himself as a 3 million dollar a year player.
