Allison to Philly?
Jason Allison and the Philadelphia Flyers have had discussions the past few days and are 1 of 3 or 4 teams speaking to Allison at the moment. Allison will likely sign a deal soon with one of these teams on a 1 year deal for up to 1.5 or 2 million dollars.

If the Flyers were to do anything, it would be to try to trade AWAY forwards, not bring in more. They still need to sign Gagne, and find out what their path to create cap room will be if Primeau comes back. Allison is definitely not what the Flyers need. He's old, slow, and very injury prone. Besides, they have plenty of decent talent in the NHL for depth purposes. This isn't going to happen.
