- Pavel Kubina has been suspended one game for his crosscheck to the face of Jiri Hudler in last nights final preseason game. He will miss wednesday's Home opener vs Ottawa
- Brad Brown has been put on waivers by the team, if he clears waives he will join the Toronto Marlies for fridays game.
